KAYLAN

Today, as noted in THIS POST, and as we have done for the past few days, we are doing something new and asking that you cry out to the Lord for one family member, specifically, in addition to your time spent praying over the twins and family.

Today we ask that you pray for the twins' big sister Kaylan. Ask God for words of encouragement, scripture, dreams, visions and thoughts to share with her and pray over her. Then come back to this blog and add your comments below so that Heather and Mitch can read them and share them with Kaylan or simply pray the scriptures over her themselves.

Thanks again for all of the prayers and words of encouragement lifted up daily. Let's do it again for Kaylan. She is a very special little girl and has a uniquely important role to fill in the lives of the twins, just like they do in her life. In this time of newness, transition, and change we definitely covet your prayers for Big Sister too!

I know God wants to continue to encourage this family and to bless them with His voice, His words and His thoughts for them all. Keep it coming!

*and don't forget to check out the new update below! Yea, God!*

  1. Hi Mitch, Heather, Kayan, Jaron & Teagan.
    In church a few years ago I picked up a little card "31 Biblical Virtues to pray for your kids" and I have had it hanging on my fridge ever since. I begin and end my day w/ one of these prayers for my kids and I added Kaylan and the twins to these prayers. I prayed today that Kaylan contiue to fill your lives w/ joy. "May my children be filled with joy given by the Holy Spirit" (1 Thess. 1:6) and I prayed that the twins continue with their perserverance. "Lord, teach my children perseverance in all they do, and help them especially to run with perseverance the race marked out for them." (Hebrews 12:1)
    We will continue to lift you all up in prayer!
    Love,
    Jimmy, Chrissy, JD & Riley

  3. Kaylan,

    When I pray for you and think of you I just think of joy and a gentle spirit. My prayer is that the way that you live your life continues to be an act of worship unto our God. In the way you adapt to change, make the best of every situation ahead and love on your little siblings I know that you will show the goodness of God.

    Psalm 99

    1 The LORD reigns,
    let the nations tremble;
    he sits enthroned between the cherubim,
    let the earth shake.

    2 Great is the LORD in Zion;
    he is exalted over all the nations.

    3 Let them praise your great and awesome name—
    he is holy.

    4 The King is mighty, he loves justice—
    you have established equity;
    in Jacob you have done
    what is just and right.

    5 Exalt the LORD our God
    and worship at his footstool;
    he is holy.

    6 Moses and Aaron were among his priests,
    Samuel was among those who called on his name;
    they called on the LORD
    and he answered them.

    7 He spoke to them from the pillar of cloud;
    they kept his statutes and the decrees he gave them.

    8 O LORD our God,
    you answered them;
    you were to Israel [a] a forgiving God,
    though you punished their misdeeds. [b]

    9 Exalt the LORD our God
    and worship at his holy mountain,
    for the LORD our God is holy.
